Perhaps one of the best animated shows of all time. The show is called Metalocalypse and is based on a fictitious heavy metal band named Dethklok that is voiced by real metal musicians. Basically the show follows the life of the members of Dethklok. Each member is loosely based on a real metal head, for example, the lead guitarist is based on Alexi Laiho of Children Of Bodom.

The show is based in Norway, where most metalcore music originated. The show, as you can imagine, is loaded with blood and gore. I suggest you check out some episodes on YouTube. Sadly, the show is not aired on Kuwaiti MTV :-( ... bu torrents are available online :-)

3rd Week Of School

WellI started my third week of school. Not so entertaining so far. They have the Student Council elections up and going. There were moon bounces at school, as well as a DJ and popcorn vendor/. I guess they're nothing left to do but practice politics like real Kuwaiti politicians in Kuwait... pay people to vote for you.

I found a website loaded with all kinds of programs for all kinds of mobiles. I just download Money Manager, a huge collection of games, MSN Mobile, Quran Reader, Amazon Fish, and plenty more. Best thing about it is that I downloaded them all for FREE. Yep,no charge whatsoever. All you have to do is download them onto your computer then transfer them into your phone however you wanna do it. I just send them via bluetooth. When your phone gets them, simply save and install them and the program will be ready for use. I suggest you check it out...

My New Phone

I finally did it, went to Al-Muneera Complex near Marina Mall and traded in my dead V3 and payed the price for a Nokia 9300. I spent the whole day yesterday just tinkering around with it, and I must say the damn thing is pretty fun. The keyboard on the inside is pretty fun and the display is much clearer than I anticipated. I'll post a review about it once I have some real experience with it. Hopefully, in like a month's time like Mark did.

Micheal Schumacher has recently announced his timely retirement. Schumacher has won just about ever major F1 racing even in the past 10 years. He's had an incredible career with Ferrari, not to mention an incredible paycheck.

They guy's been totally dominating the sport for a long time. People go to the races only to watch Micheal rake in one more win. Although, his brother Ralf Schumacher is still racing. We'll see if he ends up with career record anywhere near his brother's...

Today is a Monday, which is probably the most neutral day of the week. Today was surprisingly not a bad day at school, especially the last 2 lessons. I had Advisory and Elements of Art, basically, I had relaxation followed by kick back and enjoy. People didn't seem to give me that much of a bitch of a time today. I felt somewhat... damn it I dont have a word for it, but its a combination of relieved and at peace.

Maybe its the thought of the Amir's gift this coming weekend... or maybe this is just God's way of relieving my slight case of homesickness. Only God knows I guess...

Bank Boubyan is a new Islamic bank stationed in Kuwait that recently started operations. The website still looks very basic but its a good start. I noticed its the only bank in the country to have a "ladies' branch". Immediately, I thought...WTF??? A LADIES' BRANCH??? Are you telling me we're having trouble with cell phone pervs in banks now? Damn... only in Arabia.

Anyways, the bank does seem to have an upside. Since the bank is an Islamic bank, and Islamic law is against interest, the bank (hopefully, I'm not sure) does not charge interest on credit card bills and loan payments. If so, I'm gonna get a credit card, spend like a fucking lunatic, and repay by the time I'm a million years old. That would be alot of fun. Just imagine it, I'd love having the Guinness World Record for most impressive credit card bill... *Fuzz snaps back to reality*.

I had a great oppertunity to get a great phone today, and I totally blew it. I can be such a moron sometimes.

While browsing through Kuwait city I passed by a phone shop and say this really cool Nokia 9300, which is the only Nokia that I actally like. I asked the clerk if he was willing to trade it for my aging Motorola V3, he (surpisingly) said yes. I took a second look at my phone and said," No thanks."

Shit, I had the chance to get a Nokia, but I didn't. What was I thinking???

I'll pass by Muneera Complex (if i recall the name correctly) near Marina Mall and check out the phone shops there. They might even have a Nokia 9300i (with WiFi) to trade with my V3. I can't wait to get a new phone.

Epiphone Slash Les Paul

The guitar on the right is the Epiphone version of the Gibson custom guitar made especially for Slash in his Slash's Snakepit days. Personally, I am a massive fan of Slash and I think this guitar is probably the best guitar ever made by Gibson/Epiphone. I am yearning to own one and since my birthday is coming up this November I can sort of beg people for one :P

Anyways, I'd love to own the limited edition Gibson version, which has an artistic snake set on the fretboard in place of the inlays. Unfortunately, that guitar costs more than my tuition. The Epiphone version, as seen on the right is much moe affordable, about 500 dollars on eBay. The only difference is the fretboard, it has regulat Les Paul trapezoid inlays instead of the magnificent snake finish. I can't find any photos of the snake fretboard, but when I do, I'll post it on the blog. Not only do guitarists love it, artists love it since so much work was put into the detail of the snake. You'll know what I mean when you see it.

For now, I gotta find me a way to get that Epiphone Slash Les Paul. Damn, the thing is just pure gorgeous. If only...

I love this dude's music. This man knows how to compose some serious music. He's a master of pretty much all wind instruments. He has this unique way of being able to merge two different styles of music into one and making it seem just as melodic as any purely saxophone or clarinet pieces he's composed.

I was just listening to his rendition of Eric Clapton's "Tears In Heaven". His rendition is pretty much the same guitarwork but Eric's vocals are substituted with melodic instrumentals. Pure genious. If only he composes a piece with Joe Satriani or BB King.

AP Biology ... Yes Or No?

I have no idea why the fuck I decided to sign up for AP Biology last year. Here's the thing:-

A) I can go for AP Biology and try my best and possibly get a good enough grade for a scholarship to a college or university in Boston (home sweet home). Or I can totally screw it up and ruin my GPA and fuck up lots of chances of getting into plenty other schools.

B) I can get out of AP Biology and guarantee I won't fuck up my GPA because of it (A pre-requisite of a B in Algebra 2 is required... I really really really suck at Algebra 2 and barely passed last year). So then I have the chance to get into alot of colleges in more than one country for undergraduate courses, then go on to Boston for graduate courses.

I DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK TO DO!!! AND I ONLY HAVE TO THE END OF THIS WEEK!!!

I was browsing the net and stumbled upon this site. I think it fucking rocks, pretty useful information if you are selling guitars. Basically, you select what brand your guitar is, then you type in your guitar's serial number (printed on back of headstock). The instant you hit the "Submit" button you get full stats on your guitar. You get the location of where your guitar was made, a tour of the factory where it was made, and the date it was made. Unfortunately, you only get the month and year, so you cant celebrate an exact birthday.

My Epiphone Les Paul is about 2 and half years old and was made in Gibson's (parent company) plant in Qanding. Pretty sweet, huh?

This is one damn unlucky tourist. He was having his picture taken on the top of the WTC's observation deck just second before the plane slammed into the tower. Neither the tourist nor the person taking the photograph survived but the camera was found in the rubble and the pictures were recovered. On August 25th I took a plane from London Heathrow to Kuwait, that flight was a trnansit from an earlier flight from Boston. At Boston Logan, they made me pack my guitar in a makeshift case consisting of cardboard and tape. At the moment I knew for a fact my guitar was gone. I was absolutely certain it was going to be destroyed.

You see I immediately assumed that because I knew it was gonna be thrown into this big empty place with other massive heavy bags. The weight of the other bags would surely crush the wooden acoustic. My dad bought insurance before we left because we had 10 bags. BA still can't find my guitar, the tag might have gotten ripped straight off, leaving it nameless. If they destroy it or lose it for sure, I get the insurance money. It isn't that much, its about 270 dollars, or almost 70 KD, but still, thats better than nothing.

Honestly, I hope they lose it, I have other guitars and I can really use the money :P

Check out our new main entrance. We had it redone to make it look more welcoming and cozy. I think it gives students a warm fuzzy feeling deep inside when they walk past the gates:

Another major change are the brand new redesigned classrooms. Last year students complained of them being too cold, so we've added new heating systems. Also, the students can now be more up close and personal with the teachers while remaingin comfortable and warm due to the enlarged floor area.

The car that really got me down was the BMW, the new 7, 5, 3, and M series SUCK! And I do mean S-U-C-K! They're hideous and huge and look like sitting ducks on the road. The previous generation of BMWs looked much sportier and aggressive before. Whats with the new gay ass butterfly headlamps? Anyways, I LOVE the older BMW generation, 1996-2001. Those cars look really aggressive and like theyre about to destroy the road. I definately have to get myself a Burgandy older generation 750iL. Those things are real BMWs, the V12 is probably the best feature. The location of the navigation/TV screen is alot more practical and the location of the non-speaker phone, as well as its design, makes the older generation even better. They feel much better to drive and the interior is alot more cozy than the new pieces of crap.

I mean, just look at the picture above, isn't it gorgeous? Now, look below, hideous isn't it?

I know alot of people that are dangerously overweight. People don't realize how big of a deal it is to be overweight until they're going to the doctor's office every weekend. People think that going on a diet is easy and your body will be perfectly fine after all the weight is gone. I keep on telling them that there is much more to it than just that. They always ask me how I know all that. They think I'm just a smartass going on a rant. They don't know that not long ago I was exactly what they used to be, and to this day I'm not done with my change of lifestyle. I still got a while to go...

I wanna do something about it. I have to raise awareness about the dangers of obesity. Nobody deserves to go through the extreme psychological and physical harm I wen through. I have no idea what to do though. What can I possibly do?

The band started to write the songs near the end of 2005 after their hugely successful appearances in the USA and Europe. The Red Sox and Yankees fued has been going on for well over 100 years, its a rivalry between some of the most loyal fans on earth. The game is going to be on the 21st of August, 2006. I am dying to find some tickets. there are no more available for sale officially, so I'm gonna have to buy some from the people on the street infront of Fenway Park just before the game. The bastards charge 5 times the original price of the tickets but its totally worth watching these two notorious teams duke it out on the field. I cant wait to see the game.

I never knew cigars were so fucking huge in Hawaii. Everywhere you look there is somebody smoking a cigar, and I know why. They have plenty of international cigar brands that aren't available back in continental USA, like the Cuban handmade cigars. They also have their own brands, brands you can only find on the Hawaiian Islands.

Alcatraz

It was the day before my last day in San Francisco and I decided to visit Alcatraz Island. I spent about 3 months writing a report about the damn place during the school year. Anyways, it was a rather short ferry trip to the island. It was windy as hell and the spray from the sea was both refreshing and annoying. By the time I reached the island I was extremely eager to check out the old prison. Some of the most notorious prisoners of all time resided on that island at some point.

The place was very creepy and I wondered how the hell any human being could live in such conditions. It was prettyt hellish on the inside, but the nature on the outside was just gorgeous. Its a must see for absolutely anyone.

Its basically a simplified version of AutoCAD. A perfect program for those of you planning on being architects in the future.
