Mechanix = The Four Horsemen ????

Every metal head knows that Dave Mustaine was fired from Metallica early in the 80s and decided to go on and form his own band to rival Metallica... Megadeth (The photo is of Mustaine, right, and Hetfield in the early 80s ... when they were friends). To this day there are still arguements going on between Metallica fans and Megadeth fans over who wrote Master Of Puppets. Was it Dave Mustaine of Megadeth or was it James "Your Master" Hetfield of Metallica? I know its James, and so does every other Metallica fan.

A few days ago I was listening to a Metallica track called The Four Horsemen, later on I listened to a Megadeth track called Mechanix. I noticed they were EXTREMELY, and let me repeat that once more, EXTREMELY similar! They were basically the same song! The riffs are the same, the solos are the same, but the lyrics were slightly altered but had the same meaning. I also found out they were released in the same year, 1984. The guitar riffs are more Mustaine, but the lyrics are an extreme example of Hetfield's style. By the way, notice the additional 30 secs of guitar riffs at the beginning of Mechanix, the rest is just a sped up version of The Four Horsemen.

Obviously Dave wrote it. If James wrote it why would he change the song after Dave leaves. Mechanix is faster and more agressive (thats why its only 4 minutes long) and the four horsemen is a slower tale of the apocalypse (7 minutes long). If you listen to the verse riff's you can clearly hear the picking in four horsemen but in mechanix its much faster. Four Horsemen has a few added things too.
